This is a tee that Michael DeForge and I did together - I've worked with Michael on a couple of projects personally and watched him and Ryan Sands work on stuff together over the years (the erotic comic anthology Thickness, for one, the first issue of which was actually printed at my old office in Vallejo, CA), and the dude always delivers. 

For this one, my pitch to Michael was essentially "the twenty-sided die controls the fates of so many heroes and villains across a countless number of gaming universes; it is a simple object of immense power and possibility." In my mind, I'd kind of envisioned heroes battling on a landscape beneath a huge glowing die, but I think this is too obvious - Michael drew several D&D races, characters, and beasts, and condensed them within the 20-sided die, as if it were a prism showing the infinite possible dimensions and outcomes. At least, that's how I interpret it. 

If Michael's up for it, I would probably be into reprinting this sometime, but it will probably be a while regardless.
